19 July, 2019 - Orientation Day- The BBA Department of St. Xavier’s College, Jaipur had organized an Orientation Ceremony for the Fresher’s who have joined the college and are pursuing BBA. Mr. Siddhesh Wanikar, who is the owner of Chool Café, Jaipur, was invited as the Chief Guest. He shared his journey, about starting with selling newspapers a few years ago, to now owing and heading a restaurant in Jaipur. His story was truly an inspirational one for all the young aspiring entrepreneurs. He shared his experiences about his college days as well as about his startup. Dr. Salim Khan, Head of Department, Management gave a presentation, to get the new students acquainted with all different aspects of the Management Department. The program was held to congratulate the newcomers for joining the department, and to familiarize them with various activities of the Management Department.

The MHRM Orientation was held on 1 sept 2019 to welcome the four batch of MHRM students. The orientation gave students an outline about the course and various aspects associated with it. The Presentation was followed by a few activities ranging from ice breaker sessions, management games to the screening of the documentary Life at Xavier’s.

The department of Management and E-Cell, St. Xavier’s College, Jaipur recently organized a two day educational trip to Mind Rocks ’19. 86 students actively participated accompanied with 4 faculty members.

On the morning of 25 September 2019, students were taken to Golden Hut Resort, Rewari, Delhi, where fun activities like swimming, rain dance, DJ and other sports were arranged. Next day, buses left early so that everyone could reach on time to Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, the venue for Mind Rocks ‘19. There, the students got an opportunity to witness star speakers Nusrat Jahan Ruhi, Indian Film Actress and now an active politician; Kangana Ranaut, Indian Film Actress; Simran, Transgender Activist; Riya Sharma, Founder, MakeLoveNotScars; Sushant Singh Rajput, Indian Film Actor; Sandeep Aggarwal, Founder, ShopClues; Yuzvendra Chahal, Indian Leg Spinner; L. Suryanarayana Tejasvi, Indian Politician; Ananya Birla, Indian International Singer; Gajendra Shekhawat, Indian Politician; etc. During the same, discussions were organised that centered youth and its topics related, incorporating fun sessions in between like ‘What it takes to compose a whole new tune’ by Ritviz, Indian Musician; and ‘What it takes to be a successful musician’ and ‘Dance like nobody’s watching’ by Himesh Reshammiya, Indian Actor, Singer, Producer and Melvin Louis, Indian Dancer and Choreographer; respectively to ease the aura out. To end the power-packed evening in one of its own ways, Naezy, Indian rapper was called up to put ravishing stars to the show by his notes. At around 9 p.m., return was proposed. The unit reached Jaipur at 4:30 a.m.

E-Cell Activities: As a part of social initiative, E-Cell and Department of management organized *Rang De! Jaipur* in collaboration with AICUF and NSS at Jagatpura Railway Station on 5th October, 2019. This program was intended to makeover the same we invite all to join us for this social cause with the theme Plastic waste management, Water conservation and Culture of Rajasthan.

19 October, 2019 - The Department of Management had the privilege to introduce the first chapter of entrepreneurship and skill development program. The invited Guest speaker Mr. Sumit Srivastawa, Founder & CEO of GENSUS EDUTAINERS® (Incubator & Accelerator) took a session on “Entrepreneurship is a mindset not a profession”.

18 December, 2019 -National Symposium on "Strategies for Reshaping Business and Economy: Sustainable Development Perspective" Organised by Department of Commerce and Management at St. Xavier's College, Jaipur.

19 December, 2019 - The Department of Management had the privilege to invite Guest Speaker Dr. Anita Sharma, fellow and former professor from IIM & founder of On My Own.

She took a session on "Business Ideation & Tools Required to Ideate". The session was conducted to encourage students to opt for entrepreneurship.

18 th Oct 2019 - An alumni interaction session was organized for the BBA 2nd and 3rd year students along with the students of MHRM. The session was addressed by Pratigya Bhambhwani who completed her BBA and MHRM in 2016. During the session she shared her experience and the dynamics of the corporate world and how an exposure during the college life sets the tone for the various challenges we face in our corporate journey. The session was concluded on a note on how Xavier's still continues in influencing her life by providing the opportunity to share her experience with the current batches and walking the little walk from a listener’s end to a speaker's end.

11 October, 2019 - Alumni Interaction session organised by department of BBA. Manika Karnawat, from 2018 Batch was guest Alumni. She is the Founder of Jaipur Buzz, Social Media Advertising Platform. She shared her entrepreneurial journey with the students and encouraged them to gather as much skills and experience in the college years, enlightening them about the opportunities available and encouraging them to explore as much as they can.
